From our ever changing city skyline to the quaint “gingerbread” houses reminiscent of our colonial era to our grand “Magnificent seven” around the Queen’s Park Savannah; all captivating in their own right. I try to depict these various landmarks, urban points of interest and scenes with dominant evidence of man’s influence with the best possible artistic endeavour for as unique a perspective as possible.

"A visual chronicle: Port of Spain waterfront cityscape at dusk", January 23, 2020 Today's image vividly captures a unique moment in Trinidad and Tobago's history, showcasing the confluence of industrial heritage and modern travel. The panoramic view of the waterfront at dusk, featuring the now-removed iconic four stacks of Powergen and the cruise ship about to depart, indeed symbolizes a bygone era.
“The Red House and the Yellow Poui tree” 2024 Within this image there are many fine details of note apart from the aforementioned. Of main interest to me was the dove bearing the olive branch which sits atop on the weather vane of the Red House. In 1992 this was unveiled at the ceremonial opening of the Parliament session and it replaced the Sea Serpent which occupied this position prior to the dove. Also of note is the characteristic railings of the previously mentioned fence of the famous Woodford square at the bottom of the frame.

“All yellow affair” 2024 Captured on a beautiful Saturday morning in April recently, I ventured to the Queen’s Park Savannah seeking something special. I could not resist taking the opportunity to frame this glorious tree with some patrons in yellow garments and well of course a Maraval maxi-taxi had to join the party to make it an all yellow affair!!
