“All yellow affair” 2024 Captured on a beautiful Saturday morning in April recently, I ventured to the Queen’s Park Savannah seeking something special. I could not resist taking the opportunity to frame this glorious tree with some patrons in yellow garments and well of course a Maraval maxi-taxi had to join the party to make it an all yellow affair!!
"Show off" 2024. An early morning scene from the hollows where morning sunshine illuminated both a pink and yellow Poui tree each in full bloom and seemingly attempting to out-do one another.
“The Red House and the Yellow Poui tree” 2024 Within this image there are many fine details of note apart from the aforementioned. Of main interest to me was the dove bearing the olive branch which sits atop on the weather vane of the Red House. In 1992 this was unveiled at the ceremonial opening of the Parliament session and it replaced the Sea Serpent which occupied this position prior to the dove. Also of note is the characteristic railings of the previously mentioned fence of the famous Woodford square at the bottom of the frame.
“Lyrics fuh so” 2018. Grande Riviere beach.
"The watchmen" 2018. Orange Valley, Couva, Trinidad.
"Sunset selfie" 2018. Grande Riviere beach.
"The journeymen" 2023. Two fishermen set out to sea while leaving in their wake a backdrop of cliffs plunging into the Caribbean sea and promontories in the distance tailing off as far as the eye can see along the north coast of Trinidad.
“Golden lands” 2020. From the northern range peaks to sunlit riverbanks. This is a view from our northern coastal areas in Blanchisseuse with the Yarra river in the foreground, which traversed the landscape in the distance, adds some context to a distant view of several peaks of the northern range, Trinidad.
"Valley of fog" 2022. Saddle road, the main artery of transportation through the Santa Cruz valley, is converted into a river of fog down below on an early morning while the sunrise paints the sky and mountain tops with wonderful hues.
“The divide” 2021. When the morning light hits, everything just feels and looks right! Here you have your pick of riverside or the seaside as the pristine beach partitions the two. Las,Cuevas, North Coast, Trinidad.
“Trifecta” 2021 Central Trinidad coastal fishing village sunset views.
“The Undesirables” 2018 Central Trinidad coastal fishing village sunset views.
“Coastal spectators” 2020 Central Trinidad coastal fishing village sunset views.
"Back-beach beauty" 2023. A serene beach scene with a view framed by the coconut tress along the shoreline of the always peaceful Yarra Bay on Trinidad's north coast.
“Lost in the waves” 2023. Guayamara Bay, Trinidad. There is an undeniable hypnosis derived from the sights and sounds of the waves as they pound away at these rocks and other natural features along the coast.
“Seaside mornings” 2020 An early morning at the coconut tree lined Guayamara seashore spent with one foot in the sand and the other in the surf. Strong winds and rough waters characterize this stretch of coastline. It makes for poor bathing conditions but amazing for viewing and getting lost in the rhythm of the waves.
“Atmosphere in the Valley” 2023 Chaguaramas golf course, Tucker Valley.
"Reflector" 2023. Downtown, Port of Spain. Gorgeous light and colour is reflected by this characteristic tower with its beautiful shape and lines to add further attractive elements to this frame.
"A special end to the day at Maracas Bay" 2023.
"Disrobed" 2022. A bare tree stands out from the surrounding lush vegetation and tress in the background as an explosion of colour unfolds on an evening spent at a wetland located in southern Trinidad.

“Nature’s Palette” 2023. Looking west from the Maracas Lookout.
"Delicate sunset" 2023. A soft sunset seen to the east as the sun sets behind me from the Maracas Lookout. The vibrant greens of the foliage in the foreground were a beautiful complement to the subtle yet beautiful reds in the sky.
